English Language Learners and Trauma Informed Learning (PPP)
In September 2022, Victoria Wilson, PhD candidate, presented at TasTESOL’s term 3 forum. Her presentation was extremely informative and very well received.
In her presentation, Victoria discussed some of the effects of PTSD on learning and engagement and explored evidence-based strategies for minimising (post-traumatic) stress and maximising learning.
